The Football League has announced Wrexham FC Reserves fixtures for the new 2009/10 Totesport.com League season (Central League West Division). Most games will kick-off at 7.00pm, but again, the longer trips will be afternoon starts (2.00pm) and in return some home kick-offs with those teams could well be brought forward. Manchester City made a last minute decision to withdraw from the league, so there will be two less fixtures this season.

Buckley Town Football Club are calling on Fans of both Buckley Town and Wrexham Football Club to help identify a so called Reds Fan who launched a tirade of abuse at Reds Manager Dean Saunders as he entered the field of play as a second half substitute. Buckley Town and Wrexham FC do not condone this type of behaviour and foul language at their grounds. Increased Stewarding will be made available at future Reserve games, and once identified the culprit will be banned from Globe Way with immediate effect. Anyone who witnessed the abusive behaviour towards Saunders are encouraged to contact the club via the website, or direct to the Chairman on 075428 83923 all information provided will be in the strictest confidence and will be passed to Club Officials at the Racecourse. Buckley & District Reds maintain their own website at www.buckleyreds.co.uk which can be navigated to by clicking on the link or the logo above. Meetings are held regularly at the Hope & Anchor or at Buckley Cricket Club and details of the next meeting can be found on the site. The clubs aims are: 1. To bring fans from the Flintshire area & beyond together to raise funds for the benefit of WREXHAM (A)FC. 2. Give fans a feeling of involvement in the future of WREXHAM (A)FC. 3. To interact with other fans groups. 4. Work with other fans groups & WST for the benefit of WREXHAM (A)FC. 5. To encourage increased support for WREXHAM (A)FC in the area. 6. To promote a friendly atmosphere and to have fun at our fund raising events. If you support Wrexham AFC and attend the Reserves games at Buckley, why not join up with the Buckley & District Reds and attend their functions as well.
