the match, against a youthful Carlisle line-up, but all too
often they failed to offer a real cutting edge in front of

The bragging rights went to
Buckley Town following a pulsating Flintshire derby victory at
Mold Alex’s Alyn Park.
The home side battled hard
throughout the game and held the Bucks at half-time but
Buckley’s class told in the second-half..
From the kick-off both teams
looked to keep it tight and denied each other space while the
tackles went flying in. On-loan striker Tom McGill – playing his
last game for the Bucks before returning to Colwyn Bay –
appeared to be a particular target for tough challenges as the

bottom club – Gresford Athletic.

vacancies to help continue the infrastructure growth at the
Club. All positions will have a small re-numeration package
attached.

Penyffordd in the Horace Wyn Cup second round.
This promises to be a cracking
game with both sets of players looking forward to this local
derby a large crowd is assured at the Globe................More
A game of two different halves
Buckley started the stronger and dominated the first half
creating a number of chances with Craig Goodwin shooting high
and wide and Stuart Hayes twice shooting wide when in a good
position.
On 30 minutes Craig Worthington
picked the ball up in a central position and struck a 25 yard
effort into the top corner (30 mins 0 - 1)....................More
Buckley lined up 4-4-2 to start
and put in a fantastic performance from all the players as they
won their battles all over the pitch. They were very impressive
going forward with some great inter changes between the

this years Celtic Challenge Trophy match at Globe Way on
Saturday, 19th June 2010 with a 3:00pm kick off in aid of the
'Help for Heroes' charity.
Help for Heroes was founded by
Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the
wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and
Iraq.

to become a part of a winning team?
We are continually
on the lookout for more people to join our club as volunteers or
preferably to
join our committee. We need energetic and enthusiastic people to
help arrange fundraising, sponsorship, sell Tote tickets, steward
matches, do ground maintenance, etc.
